Knots of Faith Co. | Small Steps, Growing Faith
Faith is the foundation of our walk with Jesus. But what happens when you struggle to live by the very faith you believe in?
That's a question I've asked myself more than once.
I've been a Christian for years, and while I love Jesus, I still struggle with consistency when it comes to my walk with Christ. Some days I want to spend time in God's Word, but distractions take over. Days when I know I should be praying, but I don't. And moments when I realize I've allowed everything else to take priority over my relationship with Him.
I’m not sharing this because I'm comfortable with those struggles. I share it because I'm learning that having faith and actively walking by faith are not always the same thing.
2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us, "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
Faith isn't simply believing that God exists. It's trusting Him, seeking Him, and learning to live according to His Word, even when we don't have everything figured out.
Why Knots of Faith Co.?
Crocheting is something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve taken many avenues with Knots of Faith, but finally decided that I wanted Knots of Faith Co. to be about more than making and selling handmade items.
I wanted to use something I love to point others toward Someone I love even more: Jesus Christ.
Through handmade crochet pieces, Scripture writing plans, and simple faith resources, I hope to encourage women who, like me, want to grow closer to Jesus but sometimes struggle with where to begin or how to stay consistent.
I'm not creating this because I've mastered my walk with Christ. I'm creating it while learning to strengthen my own.
Small Steps | Growing Faith
One thing I'm learning is that consistency doesn't happen simply because we have good intentions. It requires us to make room for Jesus in our everyday lives.
Some days, it’s as simple as making time to read our Bible, talking to God in prayer, or learning to trust what His Word says instead of relying on how we feel. And what I’ve learned is that those small steps don't earn God's love, but they do help us develop the habit of seeking Him.
My prayer is that Knots of Faith Co. becomes a reminder to keep turning toward Jesus, not just when life gets difficult, but every single day.
I'm still growing. Still learning. Still working through my own struggles with faith and consistency. And if you are too, I hope you'll join me.
